Victron VE.Direct Non-Inverting Remote On-Off Cable

Use this cable to remotely control BlueSolar and SmartSolar MPPT Charge controller models.
Note that it’s not necessary to use this cable on the larger SmartSolar models, as they feature an onboard Remote on/off terminal.
The charger will be enabled when the signal on the cable is high. The charger is disabled when the source signal is pulled low or left free floating.

Note that a VE.Direct port can only be used for one purpose. Therefore, when using this cable, it is not possible to use the Solar Charger VE.Direct port for any other purpose. Such as connecting to a GX device, or for example a VE.Direct Bluetooth Smart dongle on a BlueSolar Charger.

Configuration
Note that all models that feature a load output,the (75/10, 75/15, 100/15 & 100/20) need to use VictronConnect to change this setting.
For all other models it is not necessary to change any settings, as their VE.Direct RX pin is set to Remote on/off by factory default.

• Maximum input voltage: 70V
• Minimum input voltage needed for switch on: approximately 6V
• Switch off level: input voltage must be less than 1V or must be free floating
